Our crafts have evolved along with our society, carrying with them many ideas, beliefs and sciences. It is difficult to appreciate or feel these things without knowing these ideas and stories. These stories not only help us appreciate the crafts, but also set an example of a simple and attractive life. Craftsmanship has been an important part of people's occupation in our society for centuries, but industrialization, cheap and quick manufacturing of machines have had a significant impact on this system.

Under the Gaatha scheme, we want to recognise these beautiful objects not as objects but with their significance and sweet stories . We want to not only trade these objects but also start a relationship and dialogue between the artisans and lovers of these objects so that everyone in the society can progress together.

Ultimately…we want to give an identity to the faces of these artists hidden in the darkness.
