Ramadhaniah Rahmat, born in Indonesia in 1981, moved to Singapore at 2 and grew up there. Her mother was from Banjarmasin, Kalimantan, and her father is Singaporean. She is the 4th sibling of five and the only one born in Indonesia.

After a brief stint in Madrasah Al-Sagoff (Primary 1), she took a break from school. At 10, she trained to make roti prata. At 13, she learned sewing and worked at a restaurant. She gained Singaporean citizenship at 16, attending evening classes for English and computer skills.

Her career includes roles at Nan Wah Marketing, Guardian Pharmacy, and Islamic Education. Actively involved in her community, she was a youth member at Masjid Al-Kaff and volunteered at a girls' home and elderly care center.
